Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

  • Follow the trail as letters become words and words become stories! This class blends a structured literacy curriculum with fun, engaging stories that explore big ideas like curiosity, kindness, bravery, perseverance, and friendship. Children build foundational phonics, reading, and writing skills through hands-on activities and creative play, including acting out characters, retelling and sequencing stories, building words with games and sensory materials, and crafting simple tales of their own.

  • Numbers become meaningful through movement, games, and everyday experiences. Children build early math skills like counting, subitizing, number recognition, patterns, and simple problem-solving using hands-on materials and shared challenges. Math feels approachable and useful as students talk about numbers, compare quantities, and explore how math shows up in daily life.

  • Questions spark discovery in this hands-on science class. Children observe, explore, and experiment as they learn how everyday things work, from simple machines to natural phenomena. Science feels playful and approachable as students practice asking questions, making predictions, and sharing what they notice.

  • Art begins with curiosity and grows through exploration. Children experiment with lines, shapes, colors, and textures while learning that art is a way to share ideas and feelings. Creative activities support fine motor skills, confidence, and the understanding that there are many ways to create something meaningful.

3rd Grade - 5th Grade

  • Every story is full of clues. Can you follow the trail? This class blends structured literacy with engaging mystery and fantasy stories to build strong reading comprehension and writing skills. Students analyze characters and their choices, sequence events, track cause and effect, and respond through discussion and written reflection as they uncover meaning hidden in each tale.

  • Math becomes a series of challenges worth exploring. Students strengthen skills in operations, patterns, geometry, and word problems while learning how to explain their thinking clearly. Lessons emphasize reasoning, problem-solving, and using math to make sense of real situations.

  • The world becomes a place to investigate and understand. Students explore topics such as ecosystems, physical forces, and Earth science through experiments, observation, and shared inquiry. Science skills grow through asking thoughtful questions, recording ideas, and explaining discoveries clearly.

  • Art becomes a place where ideas take shape. Students explore how artists use visual choices to communicate meaning while developing their own creative voice. Activities encourage experimentation, reflection, and thoughtful responses to both personal work and the work of others.

6th Grade - 8th Grade

  • Step into magical worlds filled with quests, heroes, and daring adventures. Students read engaging fantasy stories, analyzing characters, plot, and worldbuilding while practicing reading comprehension and writing. Through discussion, reflection, and creative projects, they explore how courage, friendship, and choices shape both stories and the communities within them.

  • Numbers tell surprising stories when students take time to explore them. Learners investigate patterns, puzzles, logic, probability, and number relationships through discussion and problem-solving. Math is treated as something creative, connected, and worth wondering about.

  • History comes alive as students explore what it means to be human. Through reading, discussion, and writing, learners examine human origins, migration, culture, and social development. The class focuses on understanding how people shape communities and how the past helps explain the present.

  • What if you could notice the world in a whole new way? In this class, students learn to observe, interpret, and translate what they see into meaningful artwork. Through exploration and experimentation, they practice expressing ideas, emotions, and perspectives while discovering how creativity can illuminate the everyday world.

9th Grade - 12th Grade

  • Dive into classic and modern fantasy worlds, exploring characters, plots, and the choices that shape societies. Students practice reading comprehension, literary analysis, and writing through discussion, reflection, and creative projects. Along the way, they discover how stories reveal ideas about power, community, and ethical decision-making.

  • Mathematics reveals patterns that shape nature, design, and human systems. Students explore fascinating ideas drawn from the natural world, architecture, probability, and complex systems. The focus stays on reasoning, curiosity, and seeing math as a powerful way to understand the world.

  • Human history unfolds through science, migration, and cultural change. Students explore evolution and early civilizations while building skills in reading, discussion, and analytical writing. The class centers on understanding where humans come from and how we continue to shape the world.

  • What can your hands say when words are not enough? In this studio class, students turn ideas and emotions into powerful visuals, exploring how every mark, bold or subtle, messy or precise, can carry meaning, memory, or feeling. Along the way, they discover how artists respond to the world and develop their own unique creative voice.

  • Math concepts come to life through movement and hands-on exploration. Students build early number sense, pattern recognition, subitizing skills, and problem-solving abilities while engaging their bodies and senses. Learning is active, supportive, and tailored to each child’s strengths, helping them connect math to real-world experiences. This course is designed specifically for Explorers with disabilities.
