We’re not just giving kids a cool space to hang out—we’re giving them the freedom to be themselves. With a membership, your child gets to make choices, follow what sparks their curiosity, and grow in ways that feel exciting and real. The time spent hanging out at Big Tree is all about investing in their joy, their growth, and creating a sense of belonging and community.

Kids get to show up and make the day their own. There’s a mix of things to do—creative projects, games, relaxing with friends, or just following whatever sparks their curiosity. No pressure, just space to be themselves.

Led by our team, these guided sessions focus on learning, growth, and trying something new. They touch on academics, social-emotional skills, and cool enrichment topics. Just check the schedule and drop in—no prep needed.

This is where kids get to step into the spotlight. They choose a topic they love, plan a session, and lead the way. It’s a fun, low-key way to build confidence, share passions, and try out leadership with support nearby if they need it.

Every kid gets a Growth Learning Plan—think of it as their personal roadmap. We’ll help set some goals based on what they’re curious about, what they’re good at, and what they want to get better at.
Then we check in, cheer them on, and help keep things moving. It’s not about pressure—it’s about having a little structure to support all that natural wonder and exploration.

Sibling Discount:
Get 10% off for each additional child on your Wayfinder, Adventurer, or Pioneer membership plan.
ESA+ Provider:
If your child receives the ESA+ scholarship, you can use those state disability funds to cover their Big Tree membership.

The Scout Pass
Need a little extra time? Our Scout Pass is an add-on to your monthly membership, perfect for those busier weeks or when your child just wants an extra Hangout. For $95 per visit, you can add another Hangout whenever it works for you.
Flexible Payment Options
Life can be unpredictable—and we’re here to roll with it. Got a vacation coming up or dealing with a sick week? No worries. You can shift your Hangouts around within the same month, so there’s no stress.
Hangouts don’t carry over to the next month, but we give you plenty of flexibility within each month to make the choices that work best for your family’s schedule.
Need to swap a session or add an extra Hangout? You’ve got options. Plus, with weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment plans, you can find what fits for your family and your budget.
We are an ESA+ Provider. If your child receives the ESA+ scholarship, you can use those state disability funds to cover their Big Tree membership.
Book a Hangout
Once you’ve taken a tour and grabbed your membership, you’re ready to book your first Hangout! Visits can last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours (that’s our max per session), and every Hangout is designed to be either Spontaneous or Structured—your child gets to choose their own adventure.

These are free-form visits where kids can enjoy any of our unique spaces—from painting in Wildflower Meadow, to building in Tinker Trail, solving puzzles in Mystery Hollow, or diving into a book in The Story Tree. It’s all about curiosity, creativity, and connection.

Structured
Join a class!
For kids who love a little more direction, we offer sessions like science experiments, crocheting, yoga, coding, or creative writing—always guided by our amazing Navigators or even fellow Explorers. These classes vary by age group (Elementary, Middle, High School) and are led by skilled facilitators—including a licensed teacher!
